Accessing the Audio/Video Stream
If you have RealPlayer 8 already installed simply click on http://video.indiana.edu:8080/ramgen/encoder/test.rm and read how to enter the virtual meeting space.

Otherwise, download RealPlayer 8 Basic from http://www.real.com/products/player/. Make sure you don't get the 'Plus' pay version and select the 'minimum' package:

Notice:
There is a one min delay between speaking a word and hearing the streamed word. Video quality will be sacrificed for high audio quality to accommodate low bandwidth connections. Your only way to contribute to the discussion remotely is by entering the virtual meeting space and using its chat facility.

Entering the Virtual Meeting Space
Remotely, you can join the discussion by logging into a 3-D online space. The simple steps are as follows:

• Download the Eduverse browser from http://vw.indiana.edu/software/eduverse.exe.
• In a (emulated)  MS Windows environment install the browser by double clicking the eduverse.exe file.
• Launch the browser by double-clicking on the Eduverse icon on your desktop. (At IUB the Eduverse browser is installed in all UITS labs. Start it by selecting 'Start -> Program Files -> Departmentally Sponsored -> SLIS -> AWEDU').
• Enter as a tourist and select the i-Garden world  from the left panel of the browser.
